You know, there's just such a sophistication and elegance to the pre and post war era. It's as though optimism reigned supreme regardless of one's own social circumstances. It's easy to see why the men and women living then have since been dubbed the greatest generation.
We are in desperate need of their courage, vision and optimism these days. Great post.

Das ist ja ne gute Idee die Eltern hier mal zu zeigen, auch noch wo sie so jung und frisch verliebt waren...
Das freut mich!
Aber gleichzeitig wird man traurig das das Leben so schnell vorbei gehen kann, auch wenn man nicht jung stirbt sondern alt wird, ist es doch immer irgendwie zu kurz...
